Reading Superstars

A great big pat on the back to all of our amazing readers. We managed to read 121,214 minutes during the 200 million minutes challenge. A special shout out to Year 6 who made huge contributions to this total. We now have our target for next year, keep reading everyone and congratulations.

Scarlett Thomas - author

On 1st May, we took our lucky Year 5 pupils to Shoreham Academy to meet and listen to author Scarlett Thomas. Scarlett talked about the inspiration behind her series Worldquake explaining about both the characters and settings. The photograph shows pupils getting their books signed by Scarlett at the end of the event. Find out what kharakter you are and more about the series by following this link: http://worldquake.co.uk/
