'Fun with Books' Club

Fun with Books is an after school Book Club run by Mr Payne for year 3/4 pupils. Ms Iliffe went along to help everyone get into the festive spirit. Firstly, we read 'Sneezy the Snowman' about a snowman who doesn't like to be cold, we read all about his attempts to get warm and the sometimes disastrous consequences. After the story, we decided to make the snowflakes that Sneezy is made from. We made a snowflake each, which Mr Payne will display in his classroom. Fun with Books is definitely fun!
Reading stories and making snowflakes are such fun!

The Book Buzz books have arrived!

Free books for all of our Year 7

Book Buzz is a Book Trust initiative and aims to promote reading for pleasure among young people, something we are happy to be a part of. As part of the scheme, all of our lucky Year 7 pupils were able to choose a book from the Book Buzz list which contained over 15 titles to choose from.

There has been a lot of anticipation over when the books would arrive and finally they are  here, ready to be handed out during English lessons. Happy reading everyone!

Which book would you choose?
